Dr. Wangui Lydia Chege is a dedicated and self-driven leader with over two decades of experience in government, primarily within the education sector. She has a proven ability to enhance productivity and achieve organisational objectives through operational improvements. With a strong background in performance management, she effectively utilizes analytical skills to motivate teams and implement best practices. Dr. Chege's extensive experience at the Kenya Institute of Special Education, along with her consulting roles at Zizi Afrique Foundation and Instill Education-Kenya, has deepened her sensitivity to vulnerable and marginalised populations. Her capabilities in research, human resource management, strategic planning, and systems audit underline her commitment to impactful leadership. As a trained senior counsellor and member of the Kenya Counseling Association and Kenya Counsellors and Psychologist board.
