Our work with KNEC strengthened, particularly on Life Skills and Values assessments self-awareness, collaboration, problemsolving, and respect. Zizi Afrique’s technical
leadership was recognised during stakeholder engagements, leading to commitments for deeper collaboration in:
i) Capacity-building for subject specialists; ii) Item development and analysis (classical test theory, item response theory, and reliability estimation);
iii) Assessment moderation and scoring; and
iv) Data interpretation and reporting. KNEC also collaborated with Zizi on convening a high-level meeting on Authentic Assessment, creating an opportunity for reflections and conceptualisation of how assessments, especially for Senior School, could look like.
This partnership firmly positions Zizi Afrique as a technical anchor in Kenya’s assessment reform journey.
