Chantal is a seasoned education specialist with over 20 years of experience in foundational learning, curriculum reform, teacher professional development, and systems strengthening across national and middle-tier levels. Beginning her career as a primary teacher in Rwanda, she has since held leadership roles in large-scale donor-funded programs, including with Concern Worldwide, FHI 360, and Education Development Trust. Her technical expertise spans inclusive education, teacher wellbeing, SEL, and resilience planning, alongside the development of CPD materials and literacy/numeracy assessments. Chantal has successfully led national and international consultancies across Africa—including in Rwanda, DRC, Djibouti, Zambia, South Sudan, Uganda, and Madagascar—for organizations such as EDC, FHI 360, AIR, and IEE.
